Job summary

ISU Research Park in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Billing Specialist to assist in the preparation, review, and generation of customer invoices during the Billing process. This role requires accurate data entry and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will collect paperwork, key bill of ladings and purchase orders, process invoices per customer requirements, and support fleet managers with driver paperwork questions.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Accounting preferred or related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment and tolerate stress.
• Express excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong keyboarding and 10 key skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, be attentive to detail, and excel in problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Key bill of ladings, purchase orders, and other reference numbers into the system.
• Process customer invoices per customer requirements.
• Assist fleet managers with driver paperwork questions.
• Complete customer requests for proof of delivery documents.
• Bill line haul, dedicated, and logistics/brokerage loads daily.
• Other duties as assigned.
