Job summary

Perch Energy, Inc. seeks a Billing Analyst II to manage end-to-end monthly billing, ensure accuracy, timeliness, and data readiness across cycles. You will collaborate with Ops Teams to resolve billing issues and drive improvements in processes and controls.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in billing operations or related analytical role.
• Strong data accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Salesforce, Zuora, Stripe preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with SQL or data analysis tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute monthly billing cycle components and bill run preparation.
• Manage billing readiness tracking and identify risks affecting timelines.
• Ensure data for first bill cycles is complete and ready for billing.
• Investigate and resolve complex billing issues with stakeholders.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across billing data.
• Review billing adjustments for completeness and accuracy.
• Track utility data and ensure billing readiness.
• Conduct post-billing reconciliation and data cleanup.
• Analyze billing results to identify anomalies and data issues.
• Develop reports to monitor billing performance and KPIs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve recurring issues.
• Identify process improvements and support automation initiatives.
• Document billing processes and issue-resolution procedures.
• Serve as SME for billing processes and data.
