Job summary

Nextech in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Billing Coordinator to support technician payroll and billing processing under the guidance of the Operations Manager. This entry-level role focuses on accuracy, learning billing systems, and understanding company and customer requirements.

You’ll handle work tickets, enter transactions, verify data, and help ensure timely invoicing while delivering reliable support to our service teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Experience in Billing-related roles preferred.
• HVAC/Service industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Process technician work tickets and import labor/materials as needed.
• Enter and verify transactions in billing system.
• Process time in/out from work tickets.
• Assign units worked to labor and material lines.
• Ensure trip and/or additional fees are assigned correctly.
• Prepare work orders with accurate descriptions.
• Verify materials match work performed.
• Flag billing issues for review.
• Monitor work order status for prompt processing.
• Complete assigned Divisions on Overtime/Conflict report.
• Add Unapplied Time to WO transactions and notify Payroll if late.
• Learn to process 2nd approvals and EFS work orders.
• Complete daily invoicing under supervision.
• Demonstrate sustained accuracy and compliance with client specs and company policies.
• Work professionally with managers, coworkers, and customers
