Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process and submit claims accurately and timely according to payer requirements.
• Maintain billing records, authorizations, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collecting and resolving outstanding balances.
• Research claim denials, payment discrepancies, and billing issues to ensure proper reimbursement.
• Verify authorization, service, and payer information for billing accuracy.
• Post payments and assist with invoice processing and account reconciliations.
• Communicate with internal departments and external funding sources regarding billing matters.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies, billing regulations, and confidentiality requirements.
