Qualifications

• Medical Billing certificate or 1–2 years billing experience.
• High School Diploma with 3 years billing experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility daily.
• Post insurance and client payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review, resolve and follow up on claim denials and rejections.
• Manage follow-up for accounts receivable.
• Complete month-end balancing and closing procedures.
• Handle billing for clients and insurance companies including MA, Medicare, commercial insurers; submission of claims electronically and on paper when necessary.
