Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Reimbursement Specialist I to process revenue, generate invoices, and follow up on unpaid accounts while delivering strong customer service to office partners and clients.

This role requires accurate data entry, AR experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will review payer requirements, post payments, contact clients, and help prevent write-offs as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivables and/or collections preferred, including collection calls.
• Quick and accurate alpha/numeric data entry skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and web-enabled applications.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process revenue for billing, generate invoices and post payments.
• Follow up on unpaid invoices and delinquent accounts after terms.
• Ensure documentation meets payer requirements and internal controls.
• Code payments, review deposits and resolve open credits.
• Provide great customer service to office partners and clients.
