Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (BA/BS).
• 5+ years progressive experience in physician billing, preferably in an academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, reports and creates plans to resolve issues preventing accurate and timely payment of accounts.
• Assists AR management in creating policies, procedures and training material for the AR staff.
• Reviews monthly collections for patterns in rejections preventing reimbursement.
• Takes an active role, often as project leader, for start-up of new programs.
