The role supports program procedures and organizational goals in a community health setting. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 years of experience, bilingual English/Spanish, and the ability to lift 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Explain program purpose and what to expect during appointments
• Verify identification, residency and income eligibility
• Perform hematological and anthropometric measurements
• Provide nutrition and breastfeeding counseling and document referrals
• Explain food instruments and E-WIC card use
• Schedule WIC appointments per guidelines
• Attend regular trainings and updates
