Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years’ experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• Child Abuse, PA Criminal Record & FBI Clearances.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly.
• Constant standing, turning, twisting, reaching and sitting for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and perform screenings for client eligibility.
• Ensure delivery of WIC benefits and nutrition education.
• Explain program purpose and WIC rules to participants.
• Verify identification, residency and income eligibility; ask about voter registration.
• Record hematological and anthropometric measurements.
• Provide nutrition and breastfeeding contacts and referrals.
• Schedule WIC appointments and attend training updates.
