Job summary

Oak Street Health in Bronx, NY is seeking a Welcome Coordinator who is bilingual Spanish required. You will be the face of our clinic, creating an inclusive environment and handling visit check-ins, co-pays, and updating patient records in our EMR.

This full-time role supports the Service Team under the Practice Manager. Responsibilities include scheduling, answering calls, routing messages, managing faxes, keeping the Welcome and Community Room tidy, and occasional travel to other centers in

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish required; multilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Strong computer skills with basic Google Suite knowledge.
• US work authorization is required to work in the United States.
• Professional phone etiquette for a front-desk role.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Check-in and assist with required forms.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Update patient information in EMR system.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments.
• Answer and route phone calls; outbound calls as needed.
• Process faxes and manage mail distribution.
• Maintain Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May float to other centers in the region.
• Other duties as assigned.
