Job summary

Supportive Steps Services is seeking a highly skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our compassionate ABA team in Boonville, CA. The ideal candidate has a strong clinical foundation, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering high-quality ABA services in home and community settings.

Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred to serve our diverse client base. This on-the-road position requires reliable transportation, flexibility, and travel up to 50 miles from

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, ABA, Counseling, Rehabilitation or related field.
• RBT certification preferred; willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Must have reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and be comfortable driving clients.
• Willing and able to travel up to 50 miles from home or assigned location; Lake County/Mendocino County/Hidden Valley location.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one adaptive skills support and behavior intervention in home and community settings.
• Collaborate with the treatment team, caregivers, and clinical supervisors to implement individualized goals.
• Teach and model behavioral, social, and daily living skills to foster independence.
• Assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and community participation.
• Support clients in vocational, volunteer, and recreational activities that align with their personal interests.
• Document sessions accurately and communicate progress to the clinical team.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
• Transport clients safely using a personal vehicle when needed.
