Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 2 years of related/office experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately count, handle cash, calculate figures and amounts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn banking software.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, front-line service and perform a wide range of transactions with accuracy.
• Count cash, verify deposits, and issue receipts; balance cash drawer.
• Promote, explain, and sell other credit union products and services.
• Maintain accurate transactional records and comply with policies and procedures.
• Assist in training other tellers and resolve discrepancies with supervisor guidance.
• Follow Bank Secrecy Act procedures for cash transactions over $10,000 and report suspicious activity.
