Job summary

Latino Community Credit Union in Durham, NC seeks a Bilingual Teller I who is willing to learn and grow with the organization. You will provide front-line service, handle transactions, and maintain accurate records while adhering to credit union policies.

You will perform cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and balance cash drawer, while delivering friendly bilingual service in English and Spanish and promoting credit union products and services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; six months of work experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to accurately count cash and calculate figures and amounts.
• Aptitude for building relationships and providing quality member service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with accuracy.
• Provide front-line member service, resolve issues, and offer solutions.
• Balance cash drawer and maintain orderly teller stations.
• Promote credit union products and services to members.
• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures; participate in community events.
