Job summary

Geotab is seeking a Technical Support Specialist located near one of our European offices; fluency in English and German is required. You will diagnose technical issues and support hardware and software across Geotab devices and the MyGeotab platform, working with partners and customers.

You should have 1–3 years in customer support, a related degree, and strong SQL/Python/C#/JavaScript skills, plus Excel and Google Suite proficiency. The role requires flexible scheduling in a 24/7/365 operation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a customer service/support capacity and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Post-secondary diploma/degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, C#, or JavaScript, and data warehouses like Google BigQuery.
• Excel skills with pivot tables and reports; proficient in Google Suite for business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers via phone, email, chat.
• Professional-level French for regional inquiries.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule in a 24/7/365 operation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose technical issues and provide support for hardware and software within Geotab products and the MyGeotab platform.
• Collaborate with partners, customers, sales, and internal teams via phone, chat, and email.
• Deliver product service training to resellers and customers.
