O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Lakewood, WA. You will support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations, and lead the team in serving customers as the store manager is away or on opposing shifts.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The role includes responsibilities from opening/closing duties to ensuring stock and returns are handled efficiently, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and team development.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsabilités

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and execute service programs.
• Ensure staffing of the retail sales counter during peak hours (lunch, late afternoons, evenings, weekends).
• Assist the store manager in setting team goals, coaching, and ensuring training compliance.
• Assist in recruiting tasks, scheduling interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management on selections.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process all buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders timely and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle outside orders with the LED ledger and ensure efficiency per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise.
• Verify all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and communicate Zipline messages.
• Delegate merchandising tasks and ensure compliance with policies; manage clock-ins/outs.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and secure money/deposits per policy; manage bank deposits.
• Assist in maintaining store facilities and delivery vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.
