Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech-language needs through comprehensive evaluations.
• Share findings with parents and district staff with clear communication.
• Develop targeted, evidence-based interventions with the ARD committee.
• Deliver therapy directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants to implement IEP goals.
• Monitor progress with detailed records and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and related discussions to support students’ education.
