You will provide direct therapy or supervise assistants, document progress with precision, and participate in ARD meetings while maintaining a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Bilingual skills required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs: conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for therapy services.
• Communicate findings: share evaluation results with parents and district personnel with clear, compassionate communication.
• Develop interventions: collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide therapy: deliver therapy services or supervise SLP Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress: maintain accurate records and use data to adjust interventions.
• Support team: participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other discussions to advocate for students’ programs.
