Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Texas seeks a bilingual SLPA to support pediatric patients in home health and daytime facilities. The role requires active Texas SLPA licensure and pediatrics experience.

You will provide skilled speech therapy per physician orders, participate in supervision with an SLP, and collaborate with the care team to achieve patient goals. This full-time role includes comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish
• Current Texas SLPA licensure
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience
• Pediatrics experience
• Home Health experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
