North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Carrollton, TX, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support pediatric patients in home health or daytime facility settings. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), holds a Texas SLPA license, and offers at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience with pediatrics.

You will collaborate with SLPs and care teams, deliver therapy per physician orders, and participate in ongoing professional development; attractive benefits

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Texas SLPA licensure is required.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.

• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
