Responsibilities

• Administers developmental tests or assessments to determine student progress and plan IEPs.
• Advise parents/guardians on progress and improvement methods at home.
• Collaborate with parents, administrators, and related services to develop and implement IEPs.
• Develops and monitors IEP goals and progress.
• Coordinate with general education teachers in inclusive settings.
• Schedule and document IEP meetings and related communications.
• Maintain detailed records and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Provide appropriate instruction with modifications and supports to meet diverse needs.
• Promote equity and address obstacles for students of color.
