Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is seeking a bilingual special education teacher to provide Spanish-language instruction to students with disabilities for the 2026-2027 year. The role requires planning objectives and timelines aligned to IEPs and delivering engaging, differentiated instruction in a self-contained setting.

Candidates must be fluent in Spanish with an Illinois LBSI license and a BSPA endorsement, plus experience using data to guide instruction and collaborating

Qualifications

• Illinois LBSI with bilingual endorsement and Spanish fluency.
• Knowledge of WIDA standards and language, literacy, math instruction.
• Ability to use data to inform instruction and IEP-based decisions.
• Experience planning engaging, standards-based instruction for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in Spanish to students with disabilities per IEP.
• Develop objectives and timelines aligned to student needs.
• Plan and implement engaging, differentiated instruction in a self-contained setting.
• Monitor progress and communicate with families and school staff.
• Collaborate with teachers and service providers to meet student needs and IEP goals.
