Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution.
• Completion of the CPS online application and teaching profile at cps.edu/teach.
• A valid teaching license issued by the Illinois State Board of Education, with endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, monitor, and manage progress of all students in assigned classes.
• Develop instruction, track progress, and enforce discipline per school policy.
• Work collaboratively with counselors, case managers, and teachers to support students' needs.
• Set goals for IEPs and align instruction to state guidelines.
• Demonstrate strong communication with administration, families, and students.
