Health Plus Management (HPM) seeks a Patient Care Coordinator to welcome patients, educate them on plans, and respond to inquiries with compassion. You will coordinate visits, verify insurance, and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of patient data, delivering excellent service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, strong organizational skills, and a dedication to a positive patient experience. Schedule is full-time, Mon-Fri with pay of $20-$22 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant medical experience, preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology & procedures.
• Knowledge of EMR system(s).
• Strong computer knowledge and Windows programs including MS Word/Excel.

Responsabilités

• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Coordinate patient visits to ensure proper progress of treatment plans.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and practice policies.
• Process medical insurance information and verify eligibility.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information (HIPAA compliant).
• Act as back-up to other team members as needed.
