Job summary

Peckham, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Customer Service Representative for day and weekend shifts. This is a full-time, on-site role handling government-customer inquiries via phone, with training and security clearance potential.

You will assist U.S. citizens, navigate a knowledge base, and ensure accurate data collection while delivering courteous, professional service. Must be able to work Saturdays/Sundays as needed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual: English and Spanish required (written and verbal)
• Experience in customer service or call centers is preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow policies and use computer systems effectively
• Flexibility in work hours, including some weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by handling incoming calls in a timely manner.
• Follow policies to respond and route calls appropriately.
• Gather information to determine customer needs and resolve inquiries.
• Schedule appointments for customers with urgent travel.
• Access knowledge base for information requests.
• Verify and record demographic data and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain quality by following standards and guidelines.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
• Promote Peckham’s vision and services to customers and stakeholders.
