Job summary

Lukos is seeking a Social Worker/Custody and Removal Coordinator to join the Irvine, California area. The role focuses on assisting victims in and out of ICE custody with resources, liaisoning with community resources, and providing support to ERO operations.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Social Work or Psychology and a Master's degree, with bilingual Spanish fluency and experience in vulnerable populations, trauma-informed care, and multi-cultural environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social work, Psychology, or an equivalent degree.
• Master's degree or an equivalent advanced degree
• Maintains current certification in BLS or CPR/BLS; TB test and vaccines as required by CDC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage calls to the VESL (ICE Victims Engagement and Services Line).
• Research resources available for victims.
• Provide information on noncitizen custody status and available resources.
• Coordinate with ERO Community Relations Officers for victim information.
• Assist victims in registering for DHS VINE.
• Facilitate victims providing a victim impact statement.
• Provide resources to victims as needed.
• Provide CRC support to detention facilities and ERO Field Offices during surges or crises.
