Job summary

Golden Gate Regional Center Inc. in Marin County, CA is hiring a Social Worker - Early Start Assessment to lead home-based assessments for 0-36 months applicants and coordinate eligibility processes under the Early Start program.

The role requires a Master’s in Social Work or related field (preferred) and relevant experience; hybrid schedule with field visits to clients’ homes and Marin County office. Local travel is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Social Work or related field strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s in social work with 1 year experience for 0-36 month population.
• 2+ years post-degree work with developmentally disabled population.

Responsibilities

• Interview families to obtain social, emotional, developmental and familial information for home-based assessment.
• Design, monitor and revise IFSP to meet personal goals and timelines.
• Coordinate meetings with team and applicants and prepare CDER.
