Job summary

Golden Gate Regional Center (GGRC) is hiring a Bilingual Social Worker for the Early Start program in San Mateo. The role combines field visits with remote work, supporting families of children aged 0–3 through assessment, planning, and service coordination.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s in social work (Master’s preferred), be fluent in Spanish, and bring strong communication and case-management skills. Hybrid schedule with statewide travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in social welfare or related field is required.
• Master’s Degree preferred for higher responsibilities.
• Fluency in Spanish is required for interactions with families.
• Case management experience with infants/young children is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and develop Family Service Plans.
• Coordinate services and act as advocate for clients and families.
• Meet with clients, document progress, and track referrals.
• Travel within San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin counties as needed.
