Job summary

Lukos seeks a Social Work / Custody and Removal Coordinator in Florence, AZ to support ICE detainees and facility staff. You will handle requests, coordinate services, and provide language interpretation to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Requires a bachelor’s in social work or related field, with two years’ experience and fluency in English and Spanish. Travel to designated facilities may be required; strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree or advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.
• Two years of related experience with victims, trauma-informed programs, or custodial settings.
• Experience with vulnerable populations and case management at local level.

Responsibilities

• Assist detainees with needs, requests, and complaints using ICE forms or equivalents.
• Support parent/child communication and child welfare involvement.
• Coordinate disability accommodations with detention facilities.
• Facilitate discussions on sexual abuse, pregnancy, housing, and release.
• Provide language interpretation for facility staff and detainees.
• Develop and maintain a national resource database for CRC/ERO use.
• Conduct wellness checks and follow-ups for vulnerable individuals.
