Job summary

Lukos LLC. is seeking a Social Work - Custody and Removal Coordinator to support ICE detainees and detention facility staff. The role focuses on victim support, trauma-informed care, and coordination of services across safety, health, and welfare domains.

Responsibilities include handling detainee requests, facilitating communications with families, ensuring accessibility accommodations, and interpreting for staff and detainees as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Psychology, or an equivalent degree.
• Master’s degree or an equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with needs, requests (on ICE Detainee Request Form or otherwise), and complaints from the detained noncitizen population.
• Assist ERO officers with addressing noncitizen requests related to parent/child communication and/or child welfare involvement.
• Facilitate on-site support of disability accommodations, including coordinating followup with detention facilities.
• Assist ERO and detention facility staff to facilitate compliance with agency policies and detention standards; communicate with detained noncitizens.
• Provide language interpretation for facility and ERO staff interacting with detained noncitizens.
