Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, and store operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of store leadership, ensuring excellent service for both retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom and execute service programs.
• Answer telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; inform customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to work schedules, approve deviations, and manage time clocks.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
