Qualifications

Master’s degree in school counseling and current ISBE PEL with a School Counseling Endorsement.
Professional school counselor with a mental health perspective and ability to engage diverse students.

Responsibilities

Create, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive school counseling program aligned with the CPS REACH Framework.
Conduct annual needs assessments and data reviews to identify student needs.
Design, conduct, and co-teach counseling activities across classroom and large-group settings.
Provide individual student planning activities and advisement toward diploma and postsecondary options.
Provide responsive and indirect services to address barriers to achievement and support crisis or emergency needs.
