Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and evaluate a Comprehensive School Counseling Program aligned with the CPS REACH Framework for School Counselors.
• Conduct Annual Needs Assessments and Data Reviews to identify critical areas of student need.
• Implement the School Counseling Core Curriculum across classroom, large group, and school-wide settings.
• Provide Individual Student Planning activities to support diploma and postsecondary options.
• Provide indirect student support and system-wide coordination to improve student achievement.

Education

Master's degree in school counseling

ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Counseling Endorsement
