Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with clerical experience, preferably with students or families in community programs.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in a designated second language.
• Experience assisting families and communicating with diverse community members.

Responsibilities

• Assist students, staff, parents and community members by providing information and services for programs and activities.
• Translate communications and serve as interpreter for conferences and meetings.
• Coordinate home visits and parent meetings to discuss student needs and school policies.
• Refer families to outside agencies and maintain partnerships between home and school.
• Prepare timely documentation, reports and records for administrators and ELAC activities.
