Qualifications

• Experience Required: Prior job related experience with school age children and families.
• Bilingual skills and fluency in English and designated language (Spanish).
• Education required: High School diploma or equivalent; fingerprint clearance and first aid training.
• Knowledge of confidentiality, scheduling and basic clerical tasks essential.

Responsibilities

• Translate verbal and written communications to assist students, staff and parents.
• Promote parental involvement and provide information and training to families.
• Coordinate with administrators, counselors and outside agencies as needed.
• Provide language support by phone and schedule language assessments under supervision.
• Maintain student records input in district databases and support staff.
