Qualifications

• Experience with school-age children and families preferred.
• Ability to perform basic clerical tasks and data entry.

• Understand and apply rules, regulations, policies; meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Translate verbal and written communications to assist students, staff and parents.
• Promote parental involvement and increase access to school information.
• Coordinate with administrators, counselors and social workers to aid students and families.
• Provide language support by phone to feeder and other district schools; schedule language assessments.
• Perform recordkeeping and data entry in ELL and related databases.
• Maintain flexible hours for evening meetings and events; ensure prompt attendance.
• Support other personnel and participate in meetings to improve skills.
