Job description

Precision Walls has an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Safety Coordinator - OSHA 500 to join our team. Precision Walls is seeking top talent in the construction industry who are eager to learn, enthusiastic, and always up for an exciting new challenge.

Responsibilities
  1. Support all phases of branch Safety, Lean Support, and Enforcement.
  2. Conduct Safety and Lean Checklist Inspections.
  3. Conduct New Hire Orientations and Skill Assessments, providing supportive documentation as required.
  4. Provide training and licensing for field personnel on tools and equipment such as Hilti Tools, MEWPs, Lull & Forklift operations, Scaffolds, Ladders, and Stilts.
  5. Assist Management in creating New Job Start Up requirements, including contract safety documents, JSSP/SSSP, OCIP-CCIP requirements, etc.
  6. Ensure a safe and healthy work environment that complies with OSHA guidelines.
  7. Support injured employees by accompanying them to initial doctor appointments and assisting until they are released to full duty.
  8. Complete documentation for any accidents, incidents, or property damage.
  9. Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements and Experience
  1. 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial construction safety.
  2. Knowledge of desktop computers, laptops, iPads, smartphones, and other electronic devices.
  3. OSHA 500 certification.
  4. Certification as a Precision Walls Trained Trainer (training provided by a Branch Safety Coordinator, Safety QQC, Safety Manager, or Branch supporting SQRM).
