Genex Service LLC in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a Medical Field Case Manager. This full-time, hybrid position requires local travel to in-person patient appointments and bilingual English/Spanish.

You will work with treating physicians, employers and patients to create and implement effective treatment plans, advocate for appropriate care, and support safe, timely return to work. RN license and 2+ years clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
• 2+ years clinical practice preferred; workers’ compensation experience preferred.
• Ability to advocate effectively with physicians, employers and customers; work independently; strong written communication.
• Active RN license in good standing; URAC certification in case management preferred.
• Travel required with reliable transportation; internet access required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and application of case management standards of practice.
• Advise on treatment plans with physicians/providers and employers.
• Interview disabled persons to assess recovery and occupational status.
• Collaborate with physicians/providers to tailor treatment plans.
• Modify job duties with employers to facilitate early return to work.
• Prioritize and manage workload independently; prepare status updates for customers.
