Job summary

Genex Service LLC is seeking a Medical Field Case Manager in the San Diego area. The role requires coordinating treatment plans with physicians, employers, and patients, with travel to in-person appointments a regular part of the job.

You will work in a hybrid pattern supporting injured workers, providing case management leadership, documentation, and collaboration with providers to optimize recovery and safe return-to-work outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates or Bachelor's in Nursing or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years clinical practice preferred; workers' compensation experience preferred.
• Skills: advocate effectively with physicians, employers, and customers; work independently; basic computer skills; strong written communication.
• Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Active RN license in good standing; URAC-recognized case management certifications (CCM, CDMS, CRC, CRRN or COHN, COHN-S, RN-BC, ACM, CMAC, CMC).
• Travel: reliable transportation to attend in-person appointments in assigned geography.
• Internet: reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Take part in developing and implementing treatment plans with physicians, employers, and patients.
• Collaborate with treating providers to tailor plans for each patient.
• Manage caseload independently with prioritization and status updates.
• Attend patient appointments as needed.
