Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Service Specialist in Austin, TX. You will support Store Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations, and take on shift management in their absence.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and you will lead a team, ensure policy-adherent phone calls, and manage in-store processes from returns to invoicing and merchandising tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise service levels on the retail showroom and ensure program execution.
• Answer telephone per policy and process orders and transfers timely.
• Handle special orders, returns, refunds, and verify payments.
• Invoicing, zipline messaging, and delegating merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure schedule adherence and proper clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties and secure money, deposits, and building.
