Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

This role may assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of store leadership, and involves leading team members, handling transactions, and ensuring efficient store processes. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execute on service programs.
• Answer the telephone per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and add orders in a timely manner.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Ensure invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and assign merchandising tasks.
• Monitor schedule adherence and proper clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day end procedures, deposits, and security.
• All other duties as assigned.
