Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in Warren, OH to assist the Store Manager and Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role also carries shift-management responsibilities when leadership is unavailable.

Strong communication skills and RSS Certification eligibility are required or encouraged, with automotive knowledge and retail experience as desired.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills.
Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
Retail sales experience desirable.
Automotive knowledge and ASE Certification mentioned as desirable.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of customer service programs.
Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure and ledger.
Ensure returns and exchanges are processed and refunds issued correctly.
Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
Communicate Zipline messages and manage Image Maker tasks.
Oversee adherence to posted work schedules and clock-in/out per policy.
Perform store opening/closing duties and day end procedures including banking and security checks.
All other duties as assigned.
