Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and daily store operations. The role also assumes shift management responsibilities when supervisors are away.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates have retail experience, preferably in auto parts, knowledge of automotive systems, and ASE certification.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) encouraged.
• Retail experience, preferably in auto parts.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and manage programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and DC add orders.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds accurately.
• Verify merchandise invoicing before products leave the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and assign merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff adhere to schedule and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and security routines.
• All other duties as assigned.
