Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of store leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge preferred.
• ASE Certification desired.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execute on service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges friendliness and refund accurately.
• Ensure all merchandise including core charges and warranties are invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Adhere to posted work schedule; adjustments approved by management; clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, money handling and bank deposits, and security checks.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
