Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in North Carolina to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of store leadership.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include leading the team in customer service, supervising service programs, processing transfers and orders, handling returns, invoicing merchandise, and performing opening/closing

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team member execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers and notify customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedule and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties including day end procedures, securing money, and locking/arming security.
• All other duties as assigned.
