O’Reilly Auto Parts in Louisiana is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers with sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role also includes shift leadership in the absence of managers.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include leading customer service, managing showroom service levels, processing transfers and orders, handling returns, invoicing, and opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and drive customer service programs.
• Answer the telephone according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Oversee returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct methods; stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise invoicing before product leaves store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages; delegate and complete merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules; manage clock-ins/outs per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties; day-end procedures; manage money deposits and bank runs.
• Ensure all night security lights are on; secure doors, alarms and deliveries.
• All other duties as assigned.
