Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. You may assume shift management responsibilities when managers are unavailable. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The role involves leading staff in delivering excellent service to retail and professional customers, coordinating service programs, and ensuring efficient processing of orders and returns.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders timely.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed accurately and refunds issued correctly.
• Invoicing of all merchandise before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff adhere to schedule and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and secure money and premises.
