Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist in Shelby Township to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role may assume shift management when managers are absent.

You will lead a team to deliver excellent customer service, handle buy online/ship to store orders, transfers, and returns, ensure accurate invoicing, and manage daily opening/closing duties. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds accurately.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and assign merchandising tasks.
• Manage opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
