Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in Massachusetts to support the Store Manager, oversee customer interactions, and assist with shift management in the manager’s absence.

Qualified candidates should have strong communication skills; RSS Certification is required. Bilingual abilities (Spanish welcomed) are encouraged and may enhance service to a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure program execution.
• Answer the telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders timely.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges and issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to the posted work schedule and clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties, money handling, deposits, and secure the premises at night.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
