Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The position emphasizes leading a team to deliver excellent service to both retail and professional customers, with duties spanning orders, returns, and daily store procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• ASE Certification (desirable).
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders timely.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Ensure returns are processed and refunds issued using correct payment methods.
• Invoice merchandise before it leaves the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clocking in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day end procedures, deposits, security checks, and delivery vehicle security.
• All other duties as assigned.
