Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. You may act as shift lead in management's absence and provide exceptional service to retail and professional customers.

Responsibilities include supervising service levels, processing orders, handling returns, invoicing merchandise, and ensuring proper scheduling, opening/closing, and security procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure program execution.
• Ensure telephone calls are answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns, exchanges, refunds, and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Manage shift coverage, clock-in/out compliance, and day-end procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and secure deposits as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
